I really like this release of Monsters From Mars. It is composed of two songs named Punchbowl On a Plane and Hedorah No Shukudai, songs which are homage to 60's surf and specific genre compound in Japan called - eleki (it's Japanese word for electric guitar). The Beatles and The Ventures, among others, inspired Japanese musicians such as Takeshi Terauchi, Yuzo Kayama to make instrumental music, mostly because they refused to sing in Japanese thinking that it doesn't feel right. So if you like J-pop culture you will like this surely.

The Fabulous St. Knicholas Cage - Shit Surf
The Fabulous St. Knicholas Cage hails out from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and they kick ass. Apart from an interesting name they have interesting music also. To be more descriptive their music represents something old presented in a new way, that I find cool. Music of St. Knicholas is twisted and dirty take on old school rockabilly and blues with prodigious touch of surf and psychedelia. If you don't like it, go home.

The Indian Summer - Moon
This is the first single from the rock duo who call themselves The Indian Summer. Half of this duo is the frontman from the band Stray Dogg who hail from Belgrade, Serbia, and Indian Summer's music differs quite significantly from what we're used to hearing from Stray Dogg; this is a sort of psychedelic, driving guitar music featuring truly rad solos and vocals that are dropped from the bottom of his heart.

Sonic Death - Uncomplete Session
This one fascinates me. Firstly, this splendid album cover grabbed my attention, loaded it up clip and barrel and blasted it in sticky brain pieces all over my wall. Secondly, I love that they sing in Russian, an artist that sings and performs in their native language is able to get across intent, power and energy. Thirdly, their style is interesting without having anything especially "new" about it. It's kind of american lo-fi with distorted guitar and phaser effects on the vocals but they simplified their music, and they have crazy energy and punk attitude.

Angel Haze - Reservation
Rising star of the Detroit underground hip-hop scene Angel has her own smooth flavor. Not typical female hip-hop but dark dub look alike beats, almost aggressive vocals, oozing cool, casual but caring; serious music. She started out as a poet, and on the advice of a friend started rapping. A lot of people on the scene say she could be representing Detroit, but Angel only represents herself. Check out this video: Werkin' Girls.

Bloodstains Across Australia Compilation
This compilation was given to me by a friend, so I took a shot. First there were Bloodstains Across Texas and California. Then everyone got into the act. Now close to 20 volumes later the series seems to have covered almost any place that had a punk scene back in the 70's. Aussies have that special lo-fi touch that no one else has and I like it very much. So I consider this compilation the best.

Bag of Dicks - Bag of Dicks EP
Bag of Dicks. As a true fan of garage music, I am thrilled with this one, and here is why. They have that 70's punk attitude, 80's raw vocals, 90's grunge drive and new era's fuzzy touch. It's all I want to hear from a band, plus they make me wanna go to the gig and smash some legs. Just joking about legs.

Dolly Rambo - Dolly Rambo
You can either love Dolly Rambo or hate her, and I mean really hate her, but I don't know why. Some people would like to call this music industrial slash dark electro but it doesn't matter what it is. It's trashin' to the fucking core.
Radio Moscow - The Great Escape of Leslie Magnafuzz

The Dreams - Morbido
I heard this band at some party and I was like, what the fuck is this? It was a crazy mixture of dub, reggae, garage with a touch of 80's in there and it was enough to put this French duo straight onto my must listen list. What's interesting is that they released album under the same record label Kill Shaman as Ty Segall, Mikal Cronin and Thee Oh Sees. You have my personal guarantee that you will be dancing.

Summer Schatzies - Take Me To Bohemia
If they keep on releasing songs in this pace I wouldn't know what to write. It doesn't matter if they sometimes sound like Best Coast, Summer Camp or Tennis, Summer Schatzies have their own sound and style. You can be happy, sad and dance to their music all at the same time.

Wildmen - Wildmen 7" EP
I saw these guys last night in Belgrade and I can say that this is a true rocknroll baby. Just guitar and drums but enough for awesome energetic gig in front of maybe 20 people. At the end, just like icing on the cake, they played Black Flag's garage version of Nervous Breakdown, and I was bought!

Piresian Beach - Alle Falle
This one is pretty interesting. Little background: another project of a vocalist and guitarist from Summer Schatzies but with much much darker sound. It has elements of a new weird america or so callled freak folk and garage sound of some underground 60's band from Detroit. All in all, it sounds great and it's fuckin' lo-fi.

White Reaper - White Aura
These guys are coming from small town just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. This is, after a long, long, long time, real lo-fi punk. Pretty goddamn good sound and I'm thinking of some good old beer, moshpit and jumping all around while I'm listening to it. This is my cup of tea and if you like lo-fi punk it should be yours too.

The Chiller Part 2: House On Haunted Chill
This is a compilation made by record label ChillMegaChill for Halloween. It contains new music from Mirror Kisses, Waylon Thornton, Bermuda Bonnie and many more. In some way all the songs have similar horror-scary-halloween theme.
Thee Holy Ghosts - Thee Holy Ghosts EP
Thee Holy Ghosts are Ian, Taylor and Hector and they are here to whip your ass. Their music reminds me of old school 60's rock but with reinforcement in the form of the punk attitude, casual vocals and lo-fi "homemade" garage.

Scream&Dive - Power Move
Their music is inspired by hot streets of Miami but they are coming from (probably even hotter) streets of Belgrade. After awesome songs Neon Shock and Palm State, they recorded a new one. Power Move is their tribute to breakdance culture (check out the video: http://vimeo.com/51816781). These energetic beats and 80's synths will definitely buy you.
